He is extremely aware of the need for better customer service and how attention to detail can make the difference between being a producer or a TOP producer. He SPECIALIZES in Summit County Real Estate. He has the knowledge of it's history and the inside story on it's future... making him the expert on the marketplace and how it works. It is the "complete package" of the area that Craig sells daily!

Barbara Rankin

Barbara Rankin

My husband, Todd, and I decided to live in Summit County because we can't imagine a better place to be. Between us we've lived in over ten states and visited all fifty, lived in three countries and visited over 25, and Summit County is where we want to call home.

I grew up with a father enlisted in the Air Force, so I lived in many places and got the travel and outdoor bug early. I, too, joined the military when I left home, and graduated with a B.S. in Legal Studies from the Air Force Academy in 1996. I spent the next 6 years as a Financial Officer stationed in Dayton, Ohio (where I earned my Masters degree in Business Administration at Ohio State University) and Tokyo, Japan (where I mastered chopsticks).

We spent quite a bit of time trying to decide on the perfect place to settle down, and we couldn't be happier since we chose to put roots down here in Summit County. I chose to do real estate because it combines all my education, experience, skills, and passion into a job where I can truly use them to the benefit of others. My goal is to help my clients achieve their real estate goals, while enabling them to relax, enjoy the mountains, and let me take care of the details. By being responsive, attentive, and knowledgeable, I hope that each of my customers will feel like they are my only one.

Melissa Sander is a Listing Specialist for the Walsh Group of RE/MAX Properties of the Summit.  Melissa works specifically with sellers and specializes in listing properties in Summit County.  She is part of the Walsh Group, where Craig Walsh brings over 30 years of real estate experience to the table and trains his team to be the very best. 

Melissa was born and raised in Deadwood, SD.  She moved to Colorado in 1992 and attended the University of Northern Colorado shortly after, graduating with a degree in Business Administration.  In 1999, Melissa met her current husband Reid Sander, and they moved to Summit County from Denver because of their love for the resort community, skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, camping and everything else it has to offer.  Melissa and Reid have 2 young boys, and a dog who also enjoy everything Summit County is about.

After 6 ½ years working for a leading resort developer in Human Resources, Melissa decided to bring that experience and expertise and join her husband in the Walsh Group with RE/MAX (Reid is a Buyer Specialist).  Melissa’s main objective is to exceed customer expectations by providing sellers with the best service in every way possible including marketing, communication, attention to detail and making the entire process easy for them.  “I enjoy the detail-oriented, creative side of working with sellers and focusing on their needs and goals in relation to selling their resort property.  I also think the Walsh Group approach brings all areas of expertise to our clients to better fit any of their needs.”
