Plan for 2009 World Music Festival

Keystone resort real estate comes with an international spark—and even more pizzazz when Caribbean dancers take to the streets near real estate in Keystone, Colorado’s River Run Village.  Wouldn’t it be great to mark your calendars and bring the entire family to see your new Keystone CO home during the June 2009 Annual World Music Festival and Marketplace?

How easy it was during the June 27-29, 2008 event to pick up a taste of Caribbean Island, Latin American, or New Orleans cuisine for family and friends staying in Keystone vacation real estate.

A wide selection of nearby properties in Keystone’s River Run includes condominiums at Red Hawk, The Springs, Arapahoe Lodge, Black Bear Lodge, Jack Pine Lodge, Dakota Lodge, Silvermill, Expedition Station, Buffalo Lodge, Lone Eagle, Riverbank Lodge and Timbers Condominiums.  Vacation real estate in Keystone’s River Run neighborhood regularly offers excellent restaurants, clubs, ski services, and shops as well as three world-class mountains for fabulous skiing, and biking and hiking trails.

Celebrating with Reggae and Calypso music, traditions, dances, artwork, games, and food, the 2008 Festival, the 4th Annual Music Festival and Marketplace, offered something for everyone in the family.  This year’s event in River Run Village coincided with the Merchant Tent Sale that included a drawing for a new bike, and the opening of Keystone Mountain for a season of mountain biking and chairlift rides.

The international cuisine was accompanied by special beers and wine drinks.  And, the children loved the snow cones as well as hours of bounce-house play, international games that are played by children in the Caribbean, crafts, and educational entertainment.  This year’s free musical performances included Paul Borelli, Tommy Shreve Louisiana Roots, Sambadenda, and others—benefitting the Keystone Kares.  The Kares are a local affiliate of Relay For Life, a national support group engaged in the fight against cancer.

This is only one of many outstanding annual festivals held in River Run every summer.  In addition to exceptional winter sports and mountain biking, the resort offers award-winning golf courses and miniature golf, road cycling, rewarding horseback riding excursions, gold-medal fly fishing, white-water rafting, high-altitude boating, and infinite hiking possibilities in the surrounding national forests.
