Keystone Colorado Mountain Art Gathering

A three-day classic art show and sale is in full swing in River Run Village.  The Mountain Art Gathering, one of many popular summer events for residents and guests of Keystone, Colorado real estate is taking place from July 26 to July 29 at The Pavilion at Keystone.  What a wonderful way to really savor the beauty of the picture-perfect mountains, the Snake River, and real estate in Keystone’s River Run Village—while mingling with artists who spend their days trying to capture the essence on canvas, in clay, or a variety of other mediums.

From our office and Keystone CO real estate in Expedition Station, we can actually see the festivities and a variety of wonderful vacation-home options in the Red Hawk Lodge, The Springs, Arapahoe Lodge, Black Bear Lodge, Jack Pine Lodge, Dakota Lodge, Silvermill, and more.  If you live along the Front Range, we’ll meet you in a couple of hours to show you some great investments in the summer market, including studios, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units or single-family homes near the Keystone Ranch™ Golf Course or The River Course™ at Keystone, both of which are situated above 9,000 feet with spectacular views of the White River National Forest.

The Mountain Art Gathering highlights the work of artisans from Summit County as well as several acclaimed artists from around the United States.  Twenty percent of the proceeds from the weekend’s art sales are donated by these outstanding artists to Soul of the Summit, an initiative of the Summit Foundation.  The extraordinary event also features activities for children, live music, and is free to the public.

Last night, the Summit Foundation which sponsors the Mountain Art Gathering, held a fantastic Gala in celebration of their 21st anniversary.  Summit County’s 28,000 residents are touched by the work of the Summit Foundation.  Established in 1984, the Foundation is a leader in building a legacy of generosity in the area.  The Foundation’s volunteer Center manages over 400 community volunteers.  Donors give their wealth, wisdom, and work.  Through fundraisers such as the Annual Grand Timber Lodge Celebrity Golf Tournament, Rubber Duck Races, and Parade of Homes, the organization funds a large spectrum of local nonprofits and programs in the arts, culture, health, human services, education, scholarship, environment, and sports.
