Owning Keystone Colorado real estate, your family will step into one of Colorado’s most exciting vacation destinations.  In addition to its bike trails and fishing, lively festivals and nightlife, lush scenery and wildflower walks, real estate in Keystone lends itself to some adventurous whitewater rafting and kayaking.  The options are compelling—from floating to heart-pounding whitewater.

Head out the door to the Snake River whose banks span seven miles along the Keystone Resort real estate and try out a rented kayak—or pick one up for yourself.  Get your feet wet as you paddle past the ole’ Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and The Outback, the majestic mountain playgrounds that welcome you.  If you haven’t yet talked to us about available Keystone CO real estate, think about booking lodging and an adventure that leaves right from the River Run Fire Pit.  There you can team up with a guide and a professional whitewater-rafting outfit and invite your family and friends for a vibrant experience to add to the summer’s vacation.

It is an important step when learning about Colorado’s rivers to be properly introduced to the waters.  Maybe the first time you’ll choose to go out for a couple of hours, but someday you’ll want to take the plunge and go on a half-day, full-day, overnight, or even a three-day whitewater-rafting trip.  Pricing, timing, and logistics vary.

Our resort offers a wealth of rafting adventures in the world-class rapids on the Colorado, South Platte, Arkansas, and Eagle rivers.  There are journeys available for Beginner (Class I-II), Intermediate (Class III), and Advanced (Class IV and over).  You can explore the Colorado River as it first meanders through the Gore Range and the expanses of Mountain Ranch with stops at historical cabins, hot springs, swimming, and for a picnic.  Even five-year-olds are welcome to explore Brown’s Canyon on the Arkansas River.  There are trips down the favorite Arkansas River and Clear Creek if everyone in your party is at least thirteen-years old.  If everyone is physically fit and at least 15 years old, you will have the option of riding the powerful whitewater rapids in Lower Canyon of Clear Creek and through the steep and technical sections of the Arkansas River.

If that all sounds too rocky for you, ask about the more relaxing trip called the Upper Colorado Scenic Float.  Fascinated three-year-olds love gliding through River Run Village to the Colorado River and back.  We can meet you there and show you convenient real estate that can serve as your family vacation headquarters for years.

The Walsh Group and RE/MAX Properties of the Summit, the #1 Broker in the area, offers excellent real estate services for our clients.  Call (866) 513-0404 or (970) 513-0404 for more information about vacation homes in the area.
