Copper Mountain Ski and Golf Properties
By The Walsh Group

Just a short drive from the Breckenridge and Keystone CO real estate is the resort area of Copper Mountain, Colorado.  For a wonderful change in scenery and activities, Keystone and Breckenridge homeowners head over to Copper Mountain real estate to access even more wonderful skiing and golfing.  Front Range residents, too, drive up to Copper Mountain real estate for recreation and appealing after-hours fun.  Copper Mountain is also a great place to pick up some Summit County investment properties.

Skiers and snowboarders know that after a day on the slopes, they can enjoy a fun après ski at J.J.'s Rocky Mountain Tavern, located at the base of the Superbee lift in the East Village.  Named after J. J. Brown, husband of the "unsinkable" Molly Brown, it is the place to be Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m.  During ski season, Moe Dixon takes the mic to sing and play his acoustic guitar.  An interactive entertainer and icon at J.J.'s, Moe gets the crowd singing and dancing to his variable play list.  Folks leave their skis at the door and love that music, tasty food, and drink.  Next door, the Double Diamond Restaurant offers a variety of steaks, sandwiches, pizza, and burgers along with an all-you-can-eat Friday Fish Fry.  During the daytime, people flock to the sunny patio dining.

Over at Center Village, more evening fun is brewing at a variety of pubs and restaurants in the hub of the resort.  An occasional elegant dining experience at the C. B. Grill, a great place for a romantic getaway or for special occasions, should be on everyone’s list.   They have a fireside, private dining area that is a great place for small parties.  The Sushi Bar at the Storm King Lounge offers the ultimate Japanese experience and guests can also play darts, pool, or relax in soft leather couches while sipping a Martini or Scotch.  There is the low sodium and low cholesterol Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Szechwan cuisine at the Imperial Palace where all food is prepared sans MSG.  In addition, many enjoy McGillycuddy's Celtic-style pub where the wings, burgers, and sandwiches are wonderful.  The upstairs, by the way, has a great view of the lake.

South-of-the-border favorites at Salsa Mountain Cantina—like homemade tamales, rellenos, and authentic Mexican and southwestern specialties—will entice you to return repeatedly.  Kids eat free on Sunday nights. The night heats up at Pravda Vodka Bar where you can choose from more than 30 vodkas; the evening starts out mellow here but ends up with high-energy, bar-top dancing.  A favorite of many, the Incline Bar and Grill offers an eclectic menu including rotisserie, barbecue, salads, sandwiches and fajitas.

The Walsh Group of RE/MAX Properties of the Summit can help you find great properties for fun and investing in this popular Rocky Mountain resort.
